Farm to Market Road 1171 (FM 1171) is a farm to market road in Denton County, Texas.〔
==Route description==
FM 1171 begins at IH 35W in Northlake. The two-lane route is an often-congested roadway for traffic traveling to Flower Mound, which lies to east, and Texas Motor Speedway, which lies one exit to the south on the Interstate. In Flower Mound, the road is known as Cross Timbers Road, and it has a junction with . At its intersection with Shiloh Road (expanded in spring 2011 from two to six lanes between Shiloh and ), the roadway expands to six lanes and serves as a major arterial for eastern Flower Mound and into Lewisville, where it is known as that city's Main Street. FM 1171 continues through central Lewisville before the designation ends at IH 35E; Main Street continues into eastern Lewisville as a four-lane road.〔
Beginning in 2014 construction started on widening the entire length of FM1171 between Shiloh Road and I-35W.
